In this session, you’ll learn the foundations of boxing/kickboxing movements and patterns along with modifications to make safe and effective for fitness and easy-to-learn for participants. You will leave with options for exercises and combinations to meet the needs along the continuum while keeping it fun, fresh, and effective.

ATHLETIC FOR LIFE
Do you feel ready to tackle a new activity or are you busy taking things off your list because you can't do them any more (sigh). We CAN be athletic for life and enjoy many diverse activities (hiking, biking, skiing, paddle boarding, pickleball) well into our 70s and beyond !! Being athletic starts with a confident mindset combined with the targeted physical training that directly supports the demands of many lifestyle activities. In this session you will experience a variety of fun and practical skills and drills that build balance, body awareness, myofascial resilience, and whole body strength to fire up your inner athlete. Coaching a Continuum of Challenge
Our goal when choosing movements for a Seniors class is to create enough difficulty to deliver both participant progress and success. In this workshop, we will introduce a ladder of movement challenge that will provide an easy-to-implement system for movement selection that maximizes participant impact and experience. Leave with a time-efficient tool to implement movement challenge concepts with confidence.

FIRE UP YOUR CORE & MORE
Core strength is a critical component of being fit, having an active lifestyle and staying injury free. Let's take a look at the complexity of the core from a fascia perspective to truly appreciate how core training contributes to the successful development of all the fitness attributes (balance, strength, stability, endurance, posture and power). We will create a ready to use comprehensive core training program that can be implemented in various class formats, with diverse clients (one on one or small group) and with accessible equipment. You will leave with a refreshed appreciation for a well designed core training plan along with lots of new and exciting exercises to truly fire up your core and more!!!
