I have been involved in the fitness/yoga world since 1996, and am a continual education provider for Yoga Alliance, and provincial registering companies for the fitness industry in British Columbia, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan. I am a highly accomplished Presenter, Entrepreneur, Author, Life Coach, Fitness Instructor, and Personal Trainer. During my first years in the fitness industry and being a student of Yoga, I was still working in the Administration and Human Resources positions in the corporate world. After 25 years of hard work and no longer reaping the benefits, work was not fun anymore. I had always told my employees that the day they walked through the door and didn't want to be there, it was time for them to leave. It happened to me one day, and so I retired. Since that day, I have followed my love and passion for helping others by developing and teaching fitness, Pilates, and Yoga programs. I am a former Pilates/Yoga studio owner and was the fitness director for a National fitness company for 5 years, overseeing a team of 15 instructors. In 2016, I took my coaching and teaching further and became a certified Life Coach through the Certified Coaches Federation of Canada. As a student of the Mind, Body & Spirit theory, and an internationally recognized Yoga Instructor, I love guiding and instructing others to live their best life. I was a National Master Bender Ball Trainer teaching the Bender Ball Method, Tabata GX, and Barre Above prior to Covid, and I have also authored many programs including the successful Bender Ball Chair Yoga course. I love teaching a variety of classes and I work one-to-one with clients, helping them create success in their lives through fitness, health and wellness programs. When I wasn't teaching online, you would find me traveling throughout the provinces of BC and Alberta mentoring many instructors and teaching CEC approved workshops. My Certifications and Awards:
